Disclosed herein are engineered non-naturally occurring nucleic acid-guided nucleases, guide nucleic acids, and targetable nuclease systems, and methods of use. Targetable nuclease systems can be used to edit genetic targets, including recursive genetic engineering and trackable genetic engineering methods.
