Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide a (hetero)aryl imidazole compound that is excellent in pest control activity, particularly, insecticidal activity and/or acaricidal activity, is excellent in safety, and may be industrially advantageously synthesized. The (hetero)aryl imidazole compound of the present invention is a compound represented by the formula (I) an N-oxide compound, stereoisomer, tautomer or hydrate thereof or a salt of any of these compounds. In the formula (I), Brepresents a nitrogen atom or CH; X represents a substituted or unsubstituted C3-8 cycloalkyl group; Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkylthio group or a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkylsulfonyl group; Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group; and R represents a substituted or unsubstituted C2-6 alkenyl group.
