An ink heating device () includes a heater circuit () including a heater () which heats ink and an auto-return type bimetal switch () which is provided between the heater () and a power source (A); a relay () provided between the bimetal switch () and the power source (A); and a controller () which opens or closes the relay () according to a state of the heater circuit ().
