Abstract
A transport wheelchair configured for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) has a seat, a backrest and a legrest carried by a frame displaceable on a set of wheels. The wheelchair has a chair configuration and a reclined configuration of the seat, the backrest and the legrest. Armrests are removably coupled with respect to the seat. The seat, the backrest and the legrest are movably coupled to the frame and capable of being selectively elevated in the reclined configuration.
