Abstract

Provided is a physical quantity detection device that can improve physical quantity measurement accuracy over a conventional device. A physical quantity detection deviceincludes a detector including a flow rate detection unit, a circuit board, a housing, and a cover. The detector detects a physical quantity and is mounted on the circuit board. The housinghouses the circuit board. The coveris fixed to the housingand defines an auxiliary passagein which the flow rate detection unitis disposed. The housingand the coverinclude a positioning portion P that includes a pin Pextending in a thickness direction Dt of the circuit boardand a fitting portion Pinto which an end portion Pof the pin Pis fitted for positioning between the housingand the cover. The pin Pincludes an engagement portion Pthat faces an engagement surfaceof the circuit boardalong the thickness direction Dt and restricts movement of the circuit boardin a surface direction Df along the front and rear surfaces thereof.
