Electronic device for providing camera preview image and operating method thereof

Abstract

An embodiment of the disclosure relates to a foldable electronic device including a plurality of cameras, providing a preview image of a camera in response to folding or unfolding of the device and an operating method thereof. A foldable electronic device according to an embodiment of the disclosure may include: a plurality of cameras, at least one display, at least one processor operatively connected with the plurality of the cameras and the at least one display, and at least one memory operatively connected with the at least one processor, and the at least one memory may store instructions which, when executed, cause the at least one processor to: while a first preview image corresponding to a first camera among the plurality of the cameras is displayed on the at least one display, select at least one other camera, based on an analysis result of at least one object included in the first preview image, in response to detecting folding or unfolding of the electronic device, display a second preview image corresponding to the selected at least one other camera, and obtain a captured image based on the displayed second preview image.
