Abstract

A secure medical device system (') includes a computer processing device () that includes a processor, memory in communication with the processor, an interface enabling communication between the processor and a diagnostic test unit (′), a first wireless access point (A), computer-readable instructions stored in the memory and executable by the processor providing a locally-served web site () that is browser accessible over the first wireless access point, and a second wireless access point (B) operable concurrently with and independent from the first wireless access point. The locally-served web site is adapted to receive control instructions over the first wireless access point and to generate command signals transmittable over the interface to the diagnostic test unit, and the second wireless access point enables communication between the processor and an external network ().
