Abstract
A composition from which a light shielding film having excellent low reflection properties to infrared rays can be formed. Moreover, also provided is a light shielding film, a color filter, an optical element, a sensor, a solid-state imaging element, and a headlight unit. The composition according to the embodiment contains a black coloring material, inorganic particles, and a resin, in which the resin includes a specific resin, and a value of a difference between an SP value of the specific resin and an SP value of the inorganic particles is equal to or greater than 1.5 MPa.
