Abstract
The present invention relates to a use of a peptide containing an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 derived from the Rv2626c protein offor treating sepsis. The peptide is excellent in inhibiting the inflammatory response induced by macrophages and is excellent in inhibiting the increase in the number of bacterial colonies, and thus can be usefully used for the treatment of sepsis.
