Abstract

Provided are an imaging device, an imaging instruction method, and an imaging instruction program capable of efficiently changing an imaging condition during capturing of a moving image. In one aspect of the present invention, an imaging device is an imaging device including an imaging unit that captures a moving image and a processor. The processor receives a first operation by a user of causing the imaging unit to start capturing of a first moving image based on a first imaging parameter and of issuing an instruction to set a second imaging parameter different from the first imaging parameter during the capturing of the first moving image, receives a second operation by the user of causing the imaging unit to start capturing of a second moving image based on the second imaging parameter after the reception of the first operation, causes the imaging unit to capture the first moving image until a third instruction to end the capturing of the first moving image is received in a case where the second operation is received, and causes the imaging unit to end the capturing of the first moving image in a case where the third instruction is received.
