Abstract

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for providing beam information for secondary cell beam failure recovery in a wireless communication system. A wireless device and a cellular base station may establish a wireless link, according to which the wireless device may be configured to communicate using a primary cell and a secondary cell. The wireless device may detect beam failure on the secondary cell. The wireless device may send an indication of the beam failure recovery to the cellular base station. The wireless device may receive information configuring candidate transmit beam reference signals for performing beam recovery on the secondary cell. The wireless device may perform beam identification and report on any new transmit beam(s) identified by the wireless device.
