Abstract

An electric drive () comprising an electric machine () is specified. The electric machine () comprises a stator () and a rotor () mounted so as to be movable with respect to the stator (), wherein the stator () comprises at least two first conductor sections () and at least two second conductor sections (), the stator () comprises at least one first short-circuiting means () and at least one second short-circuiting means (), the first conductor sections () are electrically connected to the first short-circuiting means (), the second conductor sections () are electrically connected to the second short-circuiting means (), and the first conductor sections () and the second conductor sections () are each designed to be supplied with a separate electric phase. Moreover, a supply system () for the electric drive () and a method of operating the electric drive () are specified.
