Abstract

A system is provided, including: a first component including a first fluidic channel, a first airflow passage, and a reservoir holding an aerosol-generating substrate, the first fluidic channel being fluidically coupled to the reservoir; a second component including a second fluidic channel and a second airflow passage; a joint rotatably coupling the first component to the second component, and rotation, via the joint, of the first component and the second component from a first angle to a second angle relative to one another couples the first fluidic channel to the second fluidic channel and couples the first airflow passage to the second airflow passage; and a breakable member coupled to the first component and the second component, the rotation of the first component and the second component relative to one another breaks the breakable member.
