Abstract
A method for preparing an iron sulfide (FeS) with selective and high purity by a simple process, a positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery including the iron sulfide (FeS) prepared therefrom, which can adsorb the lithium polysulfide produced during the charging and discharging process of the lithium secondary battery, thereby increasing the charging and discharging efficiency of the battery and improving its lifetime characteristics; and a lithium secondary battery provided with the same.
