Abstract
A pivotable wire deflectorfor a saw wireof a wire sawhas a deflection roller, a pivot jointand a clamping and spreading mechanism. The defection rollerhas a running groovefor guiding the saw wireof the wire saw. The pivot jointhas a rotary bearing block with a cylindrical receptacle, and a tubewhich is arranged so as to be rotatable in the cylindrical receptacle, wherein the deflection rolleris attached to the one of rotary bearing blockor tube. A clampis fastened to the rotary bearing blockand arranged so as to enclose the tube. A levercan be moved manually between a first position and a second position.
