Abstract

A reverse osmosis arrangement is described, the first chamber () having a first port () and a second port () and the second chamber () being connected to a permeate outlet (), wherein the first port () is connected to a first pump (). Such a reverse osmosis arrangement should be operated with high efficiency. To this end the second port () is connected to a second pump ().
