Abstract

Disclosed herein is an aerosol-generating device () for generating aerosol from an aerosol-generating material. The aerosol-generating device comprises: a housing (); and a heating assembly arranged in the housing for receiving aerosol-generating material. The heating assembly is configured to heat aerosol-generating material received in the heating assembly. The housing has a characteristic extent () in a first direction () of not more than 85 mm, a characteristic extent () in a second direction () perpendicular to the first direction of not more than 45 mm, and a characteristic extent () in a third direction () perpendicular to the first and second directions of not more than 23 mm.
