Abstract

A comparison apparatus () extracts an image feature () from a detected object () detected from a captured image () generated by a camera (). The comparison apparatus () determines the detected object () using the extracted image feature () and object information () of each of a plurality of registered objects. Here, in the object information () of each registered object, an object identifier () of the registered object is associated with an image feature () of the registered object. The comparison apparatus () determines a comparison order of the object information () based on position information () of each registered object, and determines the detected object () by comparing the image feature () indicated in the object information () with the image feature () in order from the object information () of which the determined comparison order is earlier.
