Abstract
An image forming apparatus () includes a photoelectric conversion portion () that receives light reflected by a document sheet and outputs an electric signal based on the light, a posture adjustment portion () having an operation shaft () rotatable about a first axis (AX) and that adjusts a posture of the photoelectric conversion portion () according to rotation of the operation shaft (), and a stimulus output portion () that outputs a stimulus perceivable by an operator of the operation shaft () each time the operation shaft () is rotated by a predetermined specific angle.
