Responsive to a current character position is any dummy character position of the one or more dummy character positions, the user is signaled that a next input character will be ignored, where the user is signaled using non-visual feedback. Responsive to receiving the next input character from the user, where the current character position is any dummy character position of the one or more dummy character positions, the next input character is ignored.
