A framework for continuously monitored remote power shutdown. In accordance with one aspect, a monitoring circuit () is coupled to a power removal circuit (). The monitoring circuit () may generate an output signal indicative of circuit integrity based on one or more electrical characteristics of the power removal circuit (). A notification system () may further be coupled to the monitoring circuit (). The notification system () may generate a notification () based on the output signal.
