Abstract
The invention relates to an aerosol-generating device comprising a cavity () for receiving an aerosol-generating article () containing aerosol-forming substrate (). The device further comprises a resilient sealing element () having a ring shape. The resilient sealing element is arranged surrounding a downstream end of the cavity. The resilient sealing element is configured to interact with the aerosol-generating article received in the cavity by abutting the aerosol-generating article.
