Abstract

A breech for a pistol including a barrel, which includes at least one barrel block and one chamber, as well as a slide and a breech guide, which is designed to move on a guide rail of a frame of the pistol and on which a socket having a breech face is formed. In order to increase the mechanical stability, the barrel block includes at least one recess on each side, which interacts with centering rails that are provided on the inside of the breech guide and are formed to be complementary to the recesses in terms of form and function.
