Abstract
The sheath () for a structural cable () has an outer surface to be exposed to an environment of a construction work equipped with the structural cable (). The outer surface of the sheath has a roughness texture () to promote retention of frozen water. In at least an upper part of the length of the sheath (), the roughness texture () covers more than half of the outer surface of the sheath.
