Abstract

An apparatus for grasping and propping electronic devices is an apparatus that enables users to easily handle a portable electronic device with one hand or to prop the device on a surface for comfortable viewing of the device's screen. The apparatus can be utilized with tablet computing devices but can also be utilized with other electronic devices. The apparatus includes an oblong base, a propping leg, a hand strap, and an attachment mechanism. The oblong base receives the body of the electronic device when the apparatus is attached to the backside of the electronic device or to a device accessory. The propping leg enables the apparatus to be utilized as a stand for the electronic device. The hand strap enables the apparatus to be utilized as a hand holder for the electronic device. The attachment mechanism enables the apparatus to be easily and releasably attached to the electronic device.
