A program for assisting an inspection of a vehicle causes an inspection assistance apparatusto function as: a registration information acquisition unitthat acquires vehicle registration information corresponding to the vehicle; a vehicle identification number acquisition unitthat acquires a vehicle identification number indicating a type of the vehicle from an in-vehicle wireless device having wireless identification information associated with the vehicle registration information; an inspection item information acquisition unitthat acquires inspection item information indicating a plurality of inspection items associated with the type of the vehicle indicated by the vehicle identification number; and a display control unitthat causes a display unit to display, as inspection target items, the plurality of inspection items indicated by the inspection item information.
