Abstract
A hollow fiber membrane moduleincludes: a plurality of hollow fiber membranes; a containerstoring the plurality of hollow fiber membranes; and a feed water inletprovided at one end portion of the containersuch that a direction in which feed water flows into the containeris parallel to a longitudinal direction of the plurality of hollow fiber membranes. A permeation flux of the hollow fiber membranesat a transmembrane pressure difference of 0.1 MPa is higher than or equal to 850 liter/m/h.
