Abstract

A capture system () includes a drone () with a capture device () having a net () and a shank () configured to form a closed line. The shank () defines a leading face (A) and a trailing face (B). The net () has a maximum diameter that is greater than a maximum diameter of the shank (), and is attached to the shank () on the side () of the trailing face (B). A strip () attaches completely around the shank () outside of the net () on the side () of the trailing face (B). Holding wires () attach to the shank () on the side () of the leading face (A) for towing by the drone (). The assembly formed by the shank () and the strip () enabling the capture device () to be held in an optimum position for capturing a flying craft ().
