Abstract

Provided is an oil deterioration diagnosis device capable of detecting oil deterioration accurately and early in real time during operation of an operating machine without oil sampling. An oil deterioration diagnosis devicefor a construction machine including an oil hydraulic circuitincludes: a floodlight projectorconfigured to irradiate oil flowing through the oil hydraulic circuitwith measuring light having a predetermined wave number or wavelength during operation of the construction machine; a photoreceiverconfigured to receive transmitted light having penetrated the oil; a signal processing unitconfigured to continuously or intermittently measure absorbance or transmittance; and a diagnosis unitconfigured to detect a decrease of an antioxidant contained in the oil or an increase of a peroxide contained in the oil, based on changes in the absorbance or the transmittance.
