Abstract
A display control method used for a control system that controls a behavior of a host-vehicle to perform an automatic lane change includes, when the control system proposes to a driver to perform the automatic lane change, displaying a second character string that includes a first character string and a third character string on a meter display provided to a meter unit that displays a meter of the host-vehicle, when contents of the automatic lane change proposed to the driver by the control system include a first lane change and a second lane change following the first lane change, displaying the second character string, which includes the first character string and the third character string, in the first lane change, and displaying the second character string, which includes the first character string, but does not include the third character string, in the second lane change.
