Abstract

The invention relates to a clamping device () for a tool () on a machine tool having a holder block () with at least 2, in particular a multiplicity of, apertures () for receiving clamping sleeves (), wherein at least two clamping sleeves () are received in the apertures (). Each clamping sleeve () has a clamping element (), with which a tool (), in particular a shaft () of a tool (), can be clamped. The clamping sleeve () at least partially passes through in each case the aperture () in the holder block () and has, at its end opposite the clamping element (), the rear end, an expansion element () which engages behind the holder block () or a counter-support element () of the holder block ().
