Abstract
A nuclear power plant includes a nuclear reactor and a reactor coolant circuit containing a reactor coolant. The nuclear power plant further includes a degasification system () for the reactor coolant. The degasification system () is an ultrasonic degasification system comprising a sonotrode cluster () with at least one sonotrode () arranged in a line of the reactor coolant circuit or in a line which is fluidically connected to the reactor coolant circuit.
