Abstract

An objective of the present invention is to simplify generation of a program for carrying out data collection performed by a PLC and reduce the burden on an operator. The invention comprises: a device information library () which stores program templates corresponding to various process relating to data collection and, for each target device from which data is to be collected, device parameters corresponding to said target device; and a program generation unit () which generates a data collection program using program templates and device parameters corresponding to an accepted target device.
