Abstract
The invention relates to a transmitter unit () comprising a housing (), a transmitter coil () arranged in the housing () for inductively transferring electrical energy to a receiver unit () which is provided with a receiver coil () and is arranged in the tissue () of the body () of a patient when the housing () having a contact surface () is placed on the body (), and comprising a control device () for controlling the operation of the transmitter coil (). According to the invention, a temperature sensor () is provided in the transmitter unit for determining a heating of the tissue () of the body () caused by the inductive transfer of electrical energy to the receiver unit (). The invention also relates to methods for determining the temperature (T) of the tissue () of a body () on a surface (), by which electrical energy is inductively transmitted for supplying an electrical consumer arranged in the tissue () of the body (), and to a method for inductively transferring electrical energy.
