Abstract
A lens support mechanism () comprises a fourth lens group unit (), a sixth lens group unit (), a rectilinear cylinder, a cam cylinder (), and a guide shaft (). The rectilinear cylinderis provided on the outer peripheral side of the fourth lens group unitand the sixth lens group unit, and has a rectilinear grooveinto which a cam followerand a main cam followerare inserted to restrict the rotation of the fourth lens group unit. A cam grooveand a cam groovewith which the cam followerand the main cam followerare engaged are formed in the cam cylinder, and when the cam cylinderrotates with respect to the rectilinear cylinder, this moves the fourth lens group unitand the sixth lens group unitin the optical axis OP direction. The guide shaftis fixed at a first end to the fourth lens group unitand inserted into the insertion openingto guide the sixth lens group unitin the optical axis OP direction.
