Abstract
An ear clamp () comprising a clamping band () and tightening structure (), wherein the clamping band () has an outer clamping band end () and an inner clamping band end (), wherein the inner clamping band end () includes a first hook () which, in the closed condition, passes through an opening () in the outer clamping band end (). In a top view of the band, the openings () are slit-shaped.
