The method includes adding an additive to prevent oxidation of the drug that is prone to oxidation. Also described, is a method of stabilizing the pH of an aqueous composition including a corticosteroid, the method including adding an additive to prevent oxidation of the corticosteroid. Further, a composition is described that includes a corticosteroid and an additive to prevent oxidation of the corticosteroid.
