Abstract

A table () for holding a beam-cut piece of material () including at least one beam-cut part (). The table () comprises a holder () holding a raster structure () configured to hold the beam-cut piece of material (). The raster structure () comprises raster sections () comprising parallel members (). The table () comprises a movable rib structure (). The rib structure () comprises ribs (). At least one of the ribs () is movable between two neighbouring members (). The rib structure () lifts the at least one part (), or the beam-cut piece of material (), or a section () of the beam-cut piece of material including at least one part of the beam-cut piece of material, or a remainder () of the beam-cut piece of material from a resting position on the raster section (). The rib structure () holds the at least one part (), or the beam-cut piece of material (), or the section () of the beam-cut piece of material, or the remainder () of the beam-cut piece of material.
