Abstract
A male connecting device for medical useincludes a male connectorhaving a cylindrical configuration and a threadedly engageable cylinderrotatably coupled to the male connector. A male luer portionof the male connectorand a female luer portionof the female connectorare joined by turning the threadedly engageable cylinderin a tightening direction T. The male connecting devicefurther includes a loosening prevention mechanismthat prohibits rotation of the threadedly engageable cylinderin a loosening direction L with respect to the male connector. The loosening prevention mechanismincludes ratchet teethformed in an inner periphery of the threadedly engageable cylinder, an elastic leafformed in the male connectorand extends in a circumferential direction and an engageable clawprotruded from a free end of the elastic leafand engageable with the ratchet teeth
