Abstract

The composition comprises a preparation ofand a trivalent chromium salt. The composition preferably comprisesorand chromium chloride, chromium nicotinate or chromium picolinate. It is formulated alone or with other active substances, excipients or additives, for oral administration as a medicinal product, phytomedicinal product, medical device, dietary supplement or admixture to a food product. It is intended for use in the prevention or treatment of a retinal degenerative disease such as age-related maculopathy (ARM) and dry or wet age-related macular degeneration (ARMD).
