Abstract
The present disclosure relates to electrical machines () configured to be fed by pulse width modulation from a power converter () and comprising a stator (), a rotor (), a rotor shaft () and one or more bearings () arranged between the rotor () and the stator (). The electrical machine () further comprising an electrical shunt () arranged between the rotor shaft () and the stator (). The present disclosure also relates to methods () to mitigate electrical discharge machining bearing currents in electrical machines ().
