A cyclic silazane compound having an alkoxysilyl group, represented by the following general formula (1): wherein R, R, Rand Reach independently represent an unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, Rrepresents a divalent hydrocarbon group having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, which may contain a sulfur atom, an ester bond or a urea bond, Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, m is 0 or 1, and n is 0, 1 or 2.
