A wire position correction apparatuscorrects, in a statorincluding an annular stator coreformed with a plurality of slots and a plurality of wires arranged in the slots, a tip end position of a wire leg portionof the wire protruding from the slot to a reference position. The wire position correction apparatusincludes a wire clamperthat holds a tip end portionof the wire leg portion, a turning mechanismthat supports the wire clamperand turns the wire clamperabout a center axis passing through a base point P such that the tip end position moves in a direction approaching the reference position, and a movement mechanismthat moves the wire clamperand the turning mechanismalong the vertical direction and circumferential and radial directions of the stator core
