Abstract

A reed () including multiple slats (), which are arranged in a transverse direction (Q) at a distance from one another is disclosed. Each slat () extends from an upper end () to a lower end (). The upper ends () are connected by an adhesive bond to two upper plate parts () of an upper holding shaft (). The lower ends () of the slats () are connected by an adhesive bond to two lower plate parts () of a lower holding shaft (). The plate parts () are each produced from a fiber-reinforced composite material. The entire upper holding shaft () and the entire lower holding shaft () preferably are made of parts produced from a fiber-reinforced composite material.
