Abstract

The invention relates to a component assembly for a crash zone (C) of a motor vehicle, comprising a retaining device () having at least one retaining element (), by means of which at least one component () is retained. In order to both arrange the at least one component () to most advantageously utilise the available installation space and to guarantee an arrangement of said component () that is secure against damage, said component is retained by means of of the retaining element () in the region of the crash zone (C) of the motor vehicle in a fixed position, wherein the retaining element () has at least one flexible region () with which the component () can be shifted out of the fixed position into an avoidance position in the event of an accident-related application of force.
