Abstract

The present invention is directed to a hybrid high voltage aqueous electrolyte battery that combines Ni/MgNiHand Mg-ion rechargeable battery chemistries. The hybrid aqueous electrolyte battery can be used for plug-in hybrid electrical vehicles and electric vehicles.
