Abstract
A transport refrigeration system () includes a refrigerant compression device (), a refrigerant heat rejection heat exchanger (), an expansion device (), and a refrigerant heat absorption heat exchanger () connected in refrigerant flow communication; a battery (); a supply line (L-L) configured to power an electric device (E-E); a switch (S-S) connecting the battery () to the supply line (L-L); a return line (R-R) configured to provide a connection to the electric device (E-E); a controller () configured to open or close the switch (S-S) in response at least one of battery voltage and current on at least one of the supply line (L-L) and the return line (R-R).
