Abstract

A three-dimensional ultrasound imaging support apparatus includes: a processor configured to generate a three-dimensional ultrasound image based on a plurality of two-dimensional ultrasound images which are imaged by an ultrasound probe at different positions of a certain portion of a subject and an imaging position of the ultrasound probe for each imaging; estimate an imaging portion corresponding to the two-dimensional ultrasound image and to the three-dimensional ultrasound image; determine, by using a guideline in which a plurality of imaging targets to be imaged are defined in advance for each portion of the subject, for the estimated imaging portion, whether or not all of the plurality of imaging targets defined in advance in the guideline are imaged; and perform notification indicating that the imaging target which is not imaged is present in a case where it is determined that the imaging target which is not imaged is present.
