Abstract

The subject invention provides compositions for promoting good health. Specifically, the subject composition can be used for alleviating symptoms of indigestion, abdominal pain, and cephalic syndrome, including in healthy subjects. In preferred embodiments, the compositions comprise an effective amount of one or moreisolates. Preferably, the bacteria used as an active ingredient in the compositions of the subject invention are of theN6.2 strain. The subject invention also provides methods for alleviating symptoms of indigestion, abdominal pain, and cephalic syndrome. These methods comprise the administration of a composition of the subject invention, wherein the composition preferably comprises an effective amount of one or moreisolates. Even more preferably, the subject method utilizes an effective amount ofN6.2.
