Abstract
A method for Resource Allocation for Msg-3 Transmission on an unlicensed spectrum may include receiving a random access response (RAR) grant comprising a 12-bit frequency domain resource allocation (FDRA) field. If the resource allocation type is type-1 some embodiments may zero padding the FDRA field to interpreting the 12-bit FDRA and determine a starting position of allocated resources where a Scheduled PUSCH Transmission is transmitted in an unlicensed spectrum. Some embodiments may use a virtual Bandwidth Part (BWP) to obtain a starting position and a length of allocated resources.
